After being educated with a degree in Finance in Houston, Texas, Evan joined AZKU, Inc. as one of the first members of the international trading & contracting firm specializing in supporting projects throughout the Middle East region. During his tenure, he was responsible for executing multimillion-dollar projects across Asia, Middle East, Eastern & Western Europe, & North America.
From 2012 to 2014, Evan spear-headed the Kurdistan (KRG) Business Development & Project Management effort in the growing semi-autonomous region. Evan also played a key role in on-going projects in North & South Iraq (proper), and supported efforts to launch the company’s Regional HQ in Dubai, UAE.
From 2014 to 2016, Evan served as International Business Development for the manufacturing start-up Premier Coil Solutions. Evan played a key role in guiding the company to expand its’ international footprint and supported efforts to implement Export Financing via Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) & Small Business Association (SBA) allowing an increased reach to global customers.
He now supports Small & Medium Size businesses, regional or international, with their operations, investments, and forecasting management.
Evan started his career at Principal Financial Group within the Life, Accident, & Health group before joining AZKU, Inc. Evan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from University Of Houston.
Since 2016, Evan has logged nearly 500,000 overseas flight miles. He is also a proud Member of Aircraft Owner’s & Pilot’s Association (AOPA) while holding a FAA Private Pilot License (SEL). He volunteers for the annual ICCC Houston Italian Festival.
He is highly active and holds a Crossfit Level-1 Trainer Certificate. Having lived in Iraq & Dubai for several years, he is very familiar with the Arabic language. He is also highly proficient in Spanish.
